Everything is so grown over, my first, timid shots were a little disappointing.....



But then I got bolder.

Here's the whole front view. The thatched roof has been replaced with a standard tiled roof. What a shame!

The grounds are laid out exactly the same! The pond, which I didn't remember is heart-shaped:

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with lots of flowers and shrubs - the whole driveway up to the house is entirely shaded with trees. Very different from when we lived there.

I crept around taking pictures for awhile and then went up and rang the bell.....
